kodi download failed no response from server

Mythtv box is running a rather dated version of MythBuntu and its the 28 fixes I do believe. Kodi leelbox -> Home Theater reciever(HDMI)-> TV <-Home Theater Reciver <- Mythtv FE/BE computerīasement Ubuntu Server (Currently used to store videos ect.) connects to Mythtv computer via NFS.

More detail my current setup looks like this: Or perhaps use the basement server without mythtv with some other settings to just store the recordings from kodi. I could really retire the computer that runs the mythtv frontend/backend currently in the living room. I could instead just somehow run the mythtv backend on my server in the basement. This is working out great and I have picked up a subscription to a live tv provider for live tv thru kodi. Recently, I have been working on cutting the cord and have purchased a Leelbox and installed kodi Krypton. I have storage of videos on a server in my basement. Also those YT videos play fine outside of Kodi on the PC, so I have the correct codecs on my PC. It is not a problem with AAC in general because every non-youtube video I have with AAC plays fine. It shows up as AAC but also shows up as UND under language in Kodi. The video plays fine but there is never any sound. Everything plays brilliantly, except for any Youtube downloaded files (which I use JDownloader2 to download). Just installed Kodi 18 (June 17th build), but that was the first one I installed on my Windows 10 NUC PC, so I can not say if an older build worked.
